Rihanna
Wore A red hot Monique Lhuillier dress and Sang A clutch
At 2008 Spirit Of Life Award Dinner, Santa Monica
My First Impression:
Looks to barbie-ish to me. Don’t get me wrong, I love Rihanna’s style, but her red Monique Lhuillier (btw: can someone teach me how to pronounce Lhuillier?) have an odd red glow and an odd bustier top. One good thing is, she has an amazing figure, if I’m the one who have to wear that dress humpff (haha…could not even picture it in my head, that’s why it’s not me in that red carpet). Ashley Tisdale
Wore a shimmery Jenny Packham dress
At The High School Musical 3 premiere during the 3rd Rome International Film Festival, Rome
My First Impression:
Stunning. I love the dress, I think its simply gorgeous. And the fact that Ashley doesn’t heavily accessories is another thing that I like. One thing off about this look is the skin colored shoes. I think it’s toning down the glam factor of Ashley overall look. Perhaps a silver or black shoe could be more festive. How About Your First Impression?
Selena Gomez
wore a Egyptian-influenced Robert Ellis dress
At St. Jude’s 5th Annual Runway For Life Benefit, Beverly Hills
My First Impression:
I like Selena She’s so adorable. But I really think that her dress is just average. The collar reminds me much of Cleopatra (well not a big surprise since it’s an Egyptian-influence dress). What I do like is the way she makes her smoky eyes and her black bracelet that she wore. I give 10 for the eyes and well, 8 for the bracelet. How About Your First Impression?
What do you like when you see Gossip Girl?
I can give you several answers starting from the catchphrase of:
“And who am I? That’s one secret I’ll never tell. xoxo, Gossip Girl”
Or the fact that the girls in GG have an amazing wardrobe…slurp.
But for me, it was nothing compare to the amazing “Blair hair”. Since the very beginning of the series, I noticed that Blair always wear cute additional head pieces. She wore scarf, flower, head band, and other stuff that i couldn’t figure out and it all looks cute on her. How she pull it off? Well I think for starter, Leighton Meester is a beautiful girl to begin with, dealing with a true beauty, my mom said she could wear an ugly nanny curtain and still pull it off (looking as beautiful as ever). Ck ck ck did I hear a lil bit of jealousy?
A wee bit perhaps…haha YES, the “Blair Hair” is a source of jealousy. Took this evidence of how cute Blair look with her “Blair Hair” to convince all of you out there to put all those ribbon, scarf and head band back in it’s rightful place. Envy much girl?

Q: If you have a vote to change the face of a country would you use that vote?
Well…I certainly will And I did several years ago, I always vote.
Interestingly, a campaign that speaks about the notion of “voting” for younger generation has emerged on youtube. This video has 2 versions. And both have uses celebrity as their endorser (no big surprise there). Apparently the first version doesn’t spark enough attention; perhaps it’s due to the celebrity effect.
In the second video, the video uses better known celebrity such as:
Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Snoop Dogg, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts, Ben Stiller, Will Smith, Steven Spielberg, Justin Timberlake, along with Sacha Baron Cohen as Borat, Zach Braff, Colin Farrell, Neil Patrick Harris, Scarlett Johansson, Shia LeBeouf, Tobey Maguire, Ryan Reynolds, and Jason Segal
Question: “Why do we still need convincing? We do know if we don’t vote then we are not in control anymore. We do know that our “one vote” could change the face of the country. Do we??”
Taylor Momsen
Wore a scarlet Marchesa gown
At the opening night at the 125th Metropolitan Opera in NYC on September 22, 2008
My First Impression: Whoa, her dress has the longest tail ever, eh, wait, that’s the red carpet dear. Hohohoho…she looks well blended with the red carpet, perhaps that’s why not many of them (celebrities) opted for a red dress. If you take off the red carpet, this gown is an amazing one, I love the bustier part and the bottom part is not so bad. It would actually look nice. But please, loose the red carpet :) How About Your First Impression?
Miley Cyrus
Wore a shimmery star printed Zuhair Murad dress
At 5th Annual Fashion Rocks in NYC on September 5, 2008
My First Impression:
The shoes! I love peep toed shoes!!! Ok I am supposed to talk about her overall appearance. But my eyes fell on her shoes; blame her short dress that really accentuates her figure and legs. Love the bottom half of the dress, but I couldn’t quite figure the upper half of the dress. Is it an added on piece of something? Anyway she’s look polished enough, I’m used to see her in Hannah Montana and it’s nice to see her all grown up. How About Your First Impression?
Katy Perry
Wore a nautical D&G shift
While Performing at a D&G Fashion Week Event in Milan on September 22, 2008
My First Impression: Haha, why do I choose this one? The answer is because I suddenly wanted to smile when I see Katy Perry dress. I know it’s hard to make the sequin dress. And its quite cute. But when you see it more closely, I kind of felt the dress smile at me, which the red boat is the smile, and the sail is the nose. Did you see it, come on it’s a huge grin, and you wouldn’t miss it! Btw Katy have done an amazing job finding a matching shoes that goes along nicely with the nautical theme isn’t she. How About Your First Impression?
